Cory Claussen Tattoo Artist

Cory Claussen is a tattoo artist and the owner of Red Arbor Tattoo in the Sioux Falls area. He has been tattooing since 2008, with work spanning two continents, three countries, and more than 26 states. Cory specializes in large-scale Japanese-inspired ornamental tattoos, including body suits, full sleeves, leg sleeves, and back pieces. He has won over 30 awards in tattooing.

Cory is currently only taking on large-scale Japanese-inspired ornamental projects. That includes full sleeves, leg sleeves, back pieces, and body suits. If you're looking for a smaller piece or a different style, the rest of the Red Arbor team can take care of you. Cory is selective with his calendar so he can put real time into the bigger projects.

Cory charges $500 per hour with a $2,500 day rate cap. The day rate cap means a full day with Cory costs $2,500, no matter how many hours the session runs. Most of Cory's projects run multiple sessions over several months. At your free consultation, Cory will walk you through what your specific piece will likely cost from start to finish.

Cory is typically booked out 6 to 8 months at any given time. For large-scale projects that means consultations now and your first session later in the year. If you want to start sooner, the rest of the Red Arbor team can help with Japanese, cover-up, and other large-scale work.
